FTU R1 Features

The FTU R1 is a pivot window offering a laminated inner pane with additional moisture resistance, coated with a white, easy to clean polyurethane varnish. The three coats of varnish and additional corner guards protect the wooden elements of the window. FTU – V P2 windows have a broad range of applications, in particular in rooms where there is high humidity, e.g. kitchens and bathrooms. FTU – V P2 windows are also installed in buildings where white, easy to maintain windows are specified e.g. hotels and hospitals.

Fakro’s FTU R1 significantly reduces noise penetration. It is constructed from toughened glass on the outside, and specially laminated glass inside. The laminated glass has a layer of soft, sound proofing epoxy resin, and a low emission coating. The glazing cavity is filled with gas, which also reduces noise penetration.
Sound-proof glazing is made to an exceptionally high specification (Rw = 40dB).

FAKRO offer four internal style finishes with an elegant handle at the bottom for ease of operation. Centre pivot windows can be made in natural pine, white acrylic, white polyurethane and white UPVC finishes – this is entirely up to you! All of these windows are manufactured with a V40P air inlet which by automatic adjustment of the flow channel size provides an optimum amount of air into the room.

-Convenient way to use the window as the handle is located at the bottom of the sash. The handle is equipped with a two step micro-opening facilty.
-Easy cleaning of the outer pane and operating the awning blind with the use of blocking sash bolt when rotated through 180 degrees.
-A wide range of accessories which include both internal and external blinds. This window also has the ability to install electrical controls.
-Centre pivot windows come with a V40P automatic air inlet.
-Installation in roof pitches from 15 to 90 degrees.

Centre pivot roof windows are still the most popular design and all can be rotated through 180° to clean the outer pane from within the room.
